THE ROLE
We are looking for is an In-house Legal Counsel to provide proactive and strategic legal and regulatory advice and to handle a range of legal issues affecting the group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complex legal servicing of the financial holding;
• Drafting, revising and executing contracts, notarial deeds and other document relating to the Lending activities, Brokerage activities and deals in financial instruments;
• Court proceeding, litigation and compulsory collection of bad debt or other claims against non-performing clients;
• Communication with regulators such as National Banks, Financial Conduct Authorities, Consumer and Competition protection commissions and others;
• Advising on general company matters such as employment, GDPR, AML/ATF, e-commerce and others including all court proceedings.
REQUIREMENTS
• Master of Law;
• Legal English;
• Professional experience in Commercial law in particular Banking, Finance, Lending, Investment advisory or Payments, as well as Property law, Litigation and Execution of claims;
• Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality;
• Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative and with regard to set deadlines;
• High computer literacy especially with Internet, MS Office, Legal software;
• Communicative, team work skills;
• Detail oriented
