CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

For the needs of our client we are looking for:
 

Chief Accountant (Temporary replacement for at least 12 months)
 

Responsibilities include:

Book keeps the accomplished financial transactions.
Ensures that all type of data is recorded into the computerized accounting system on a timely basis and ensures subsequent verification thereof.
Files all accounting support documents, reconciliations and analyses in accordance with statutory/project requirements.
Prepares and submits VAT declarations and monthly registers and participates in the processed related to VAT refund
Operates the accounting system in a proper and professional manner.
Assists in the preparation of third party contracts, donor contracts and partnership agreements and manages their filing in registers and their administration.
Processes and prepares the monthly payroll and all other contract related remuneration payments.
Prepares and submits to NRA monthly declarations related to the current salaries.
Prepares and submits to NSSI all necessary information and declarations.
Participates in the induction process for new staff.
Develops and maintains an effective system for controlling vacation and other absences.
Creates and updates leave calendar for the personnel

Required qualifications:

Higher education in Accounting or Economics.
5 years of professional experience in Accounting.
Business Navigator knowledge .
Proficiency in English.
Computer literacy (spreadsheets and word processing).
Excellent organization and communication skills.
